Physiotherapy after a Hospital Admission & Falls Prevention
We know how a hospital admission can effect someone's overall strength, energy and mobility. It may now be difficult to complete everyday tasks and getting around. The risk of falls can be high. We can work on balance training, strength exercises, and education on safe movement. The goal is to promote independence and reduce the likelihood of falls and related injuries.
Daily Activities

Washing & Dressing
We can work with you to increase your energy levels, strength and co-ordination to allow you to be able to manage washing & dressing tasks. This could include using a shower or getting your trousers on.

Preparing a Meal
Cooking can be physically tiring. Having to stand for long periods of time, carrying heavy pots and cutting up food is difficult. However, eating the right food is important, therefore we can support you to get back into the kitchen cooking your favourite dish.

Using the Bathroom
Even the essential tasks like going to the toilet can be hard, maybe you're currently using a commode. We can look at equipment options, as well as increasing your mobility and strength to make using the toilet simple again.
